The territory of Erice stretches across the western tip of Sicily, overlooking the city of Trapani. It is a hilly area, whose highest pick reaches eight hundred meters where the enchanting medieval town of Erice dominates.
It is famous for its archaeological heritage, among which the temple of Segesta and the Island of Mozia stand out. This piece of land also has an extremely beautiful natural environment, so it is possible to admire hills planted with vines that that slope gently down to the coast studded with the wind-mills of the ancient salt-works, the golden beaches of San Vito lo Capo, with the Egadi Islands silhouetted against a turquoise sea.
